Janice Jones is an Associate Professor in the College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University, with a prior career in the healthcare sector. She is also a Full Member of the Centre for Social Impact. Her research focuses on Human Resource Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Innovation, and the application of digital technologies like social media and AI in organizational contexts. She has a particular interest in culturally and linguistically diverse workers, Indigenous arts workers, and persons with disabilities.
Education: PhD, Flinders University (2010).
Research Interests include:
- Human Resource Management strategies for inclusive workplaces
- Innovation in SMEs and technology transfer
- Impact of social media and AI on organizational performance
- Disability employment pathways in hospitality and retail sectors
- Global workforce challenges like repatriation and expatriation
Her recent projects include co-designing disability employment approaches with employers in hospitality and fashion retail industries, and developing an employment action toolkit for people with disabilities. She has over 67 research outputs and an h-index of 15, with 867 citations.
