Charissa Freese is a Full Professor at Tilburg University's Department of Human Resource Studies within the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. She holds an endowed chair in HRM and Social Security, funded by Instituut Gak. Her research focuses on inclusive employment relations, particularly for non-standard workers such as refugees, migrants, and people with disabilities. She has published over 100 articles and supervised 12 PhD candidates. Beyond Tilburg, she serves as a member of the executive board at Avans University of Applied Sciences and an extra-ordinary professor at North-West University, South Africa.
