Janek Richter

Janek Richter is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Digital Transformation at NEOMA Business School. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cologne and previously worked at the Cologne Institute for Information Systems (CIIS) as a postdoctoral research fellow. His research explores digital transformation, organizational agility, dynamic capabilities, managerial cognition, and service-orientation.

Dr. Richter's research spans organizational responses to digital technologies, including studies on AI identity threats, agile implementation challenges, and knowledge management mechanisms. His work has been published in premier journals like European Journal of Information Systems and presented at leading conferences such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS).

He serves as Associate Editor for conference tracks on "Innovative Research Methods" and "Digital Transformation." His teaching portfolio includes managing digital technologies, sustainable digital innovation, and IT project management. At NEOMA, he contributes to research initiatives in digital responses to crises and experimental information systems.
