Jane Rees

Ms. Jane Rees is a Law Lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the FBL - Law department. Her research focuses on legal and gendered issues in reproduction, feminist legal theory, criminal law, and pedagogy in legal education. She holds qualifications including an LL.B. (Hons) from UEA, an LL.M. in International Law from Hull, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Distinction) from UWE. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds an ILM Certificate in Leadership & Management.

Her teaching areas include Criminal Law, Gender & Law, Medical Law, and Legal Method. Her notable publication, 'Finally fit for purpose? The Human Fertilization and Embryology Act 2008,' analyzes legislative developments in reproductive law.
