Dr. Jane Norris is a Professor of Digital & Design Culture and Head of the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology at Richmond University. She holds a PhD from Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London (UAL), focusing on 'Viatopias: exploring the digital language of urban travel spaces.' Her research bridges speculative material design, critical writing, and digital media, emphasizing decolonial approaches to material relationships. She leads initiatives like the 'Listening to Materials' project, exploring crumpled time, aerial viewpoints, and posthuman audio through design fiction.
