معرفی
Amina Abbas-Nazari is a Lecturer in Contextual and Theoretical Studies at the London College of Communication (University of the Arts London). She holds a PhD from the Royal College of Art (RCA), where she investigated the role of voice in AI systems. Previously, she was a Research Fellow on the EPSRC-funded Citizen Naturewatch project and currently works on the URKI-funded Becoming Regenerative initiative, a global collaboration between Loughborough University London, RCA, UCL, and industry partners.
Her research focuses on intersectional and more-than-human design approaches, combining sonic theory with emerging technologies. Key interests include voice profiling, conversational AI ethics, speculative design, and participatory methodologies. She has presented work internationally at venues like the London Design Festival, Venice Architecture Biennale, and Harvard University, while also performing as an experimental vocalist with choirs.
Teaching spans foundation to MA levels across UK art & design institutions, with leadership in short-courses and guest lectures globally. Her practice integrates design research, performance, and critical inquiry into AI’s societal impacts.
