Jane Masoli is an Associate Professor of Ageing Research at the University of Exeter and an Honorary Consultant Geriatrician at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust. She leads the AGE (Ageing and long-term conditions, Genomics and Epidemiology) Research Group and serves as Medical co-director and Ageing Lead of the NIHR Research Delivery Network South West Peninsula.

Research Interests: Her work centers on data-driven approaches to cardiovascular frailty and multimorbidity in ageing populations, integrating genomics, epidemiology, and big data analytics. She investigates clinical decision-making for complex long-term conditions through health services research and translational epidemiology, with emphasis on cardiovascular outcomes in geriatric care. Her methodology bridges clinical practice with population health analytics to address challenges in multimorbid elderly patients.

Advising and Grants: Professor Masoli supervises PhD students and academic clinical fellows in cardiovascular frailty research, providing mentorship through the NIHR Integrated Academic Training pathway. She secures major funding including her NIHR Advanced Fellowship and leads work packages for the GEMINI Multiple Long-Term Conditions collaborative, focusing on genomic and epidemiological approaches to multimorbidity.
Labs and Teams: She directs the AGE Research Group at the University of Exeter, which operates within the NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre framework. The group collaborates across Health Analytics @Exeter and Health Technologies @Exeter networks, developing interdisciplinary approaches to ageing research through partnerships with Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust and European Geriatric Medicine Society initiatives.
