Jane Chambers

Dr. Jane Chambers is an Associate Professor and Head of the School of Education at St Mary’s University. She oversees Initial Teacher Education, undergraduate programs, postgraduate awards, research, and continuing professional development. Her leadership roles include Chair of the Athena SWAN Self Assessment Team and co-Chair of the Parents and Carers Network, demonstrating her commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. She has received notable awards including the St Henry Walpole Prize (2022, 2009) and the University Inspirational Leader Award (2021).
