Jane Boulden is a Professor at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) and cross-appointed to Queen’s University, where she serves as a Research Fellow at the Queen’s University Centre for International and Defence Policy. Her academic career includes a Canada Research Chair in International Relations and Security Studies (2004–2014) and a MacArthur Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford’s Centre for International Studies (2000–2004). Her research focuses on United Nations peacekeeping operations, Canadian foreign and defence policy, and the role of international organizations in conflict resolution.
Her expertise spans UN sanctions mechanisms, security council dynamics, and geopolitical conflict resolution strategies.
