Jana Kukaine is a Doctor of Arts, philosopher, art curator, and researcher of feminist theories affiliated with the Latvian Academy of Arts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Latvia, a Master's degree in Arts from Maastricht University, and a Doctor's degree in Art History and Theory from the Latvian Academy of Arts. Her academic work focuses on feminist theory, philosophy, art history, affect theory, body studies, and subjectivity.
