Jana Kotlebová is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Banking and International Finance at Bratislava University of Economics and Business (Faculty of Economics and Finance). Her research focuses on monetary policy transmission mechanisms, financial markets analysis, and international banking systems. She leads key academic initiatives including the Rotman Trading Competition partnership and oversees sections for publishing, pedagogy, and scientific projects.
Research interests include unconventional monetary policies, financial fragmentation in the Eurozone, and the impact of central bank measures on banking sectors. Her work spans econometric analysis of market anomalies (e.g., turn-of-the-month effects), liquidity dynamics under ECB programs, and policy implications for emerging economies.
