Adalbert Winkler

Adalbert Winkler is a Professor of International and Development Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He holds a PhD from the University of Trier and completed his habilitation at the University of Würzburg. Prior to his academic career, he served in critical roles including leading the economic department of IPC GmbH, advising the European Central Bank (ECB), and working at the Deutsche Bundesbank. His research focuses on financial system development, monetary policy, and international monetary systems, with significant contributions to understanding microfinance, crisis management, and Eurozone governance.
