Dr. Jan van Weering is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Functional Genomics at the Faculty of Science, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on synaptic vesicle dynamics, endosomal sorting, tau pathology, and molecular mechanisms in neuroscience. He contributes to the Amsterdam Neuroscience - Cellular & Molecular Mechanisms program and is affiliated with ongoing projects involving cryofixation and electron microscopy.
