Jan G. Voelkel is an Assistant Professor at the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and the Department of Sociology at Cornell University. His research explores how micro-level preferences for equality and unity translate into macro-level political decisions, focusing on democratic attitudes, partisan dynamics, and moral framing.
