Professor Jan Buitelaar is a leading academic at Radboud University Medical Centre, holding roles as Professor in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Principal Investigator at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, and head of the Karakter Child and Adolescent Psychiatry University Centre. His research focuses on neuropsychiatric and developmental disorders, particularly ADHD, autism, and aggression/impulsivity-related conditions, employing interdisciplinary methods including neuroimaging, genetics, and pharmacology.
