Professor Jamie Macdonald is a leading academic at Bangor University's School of Psychology and Sport Science, where he holds a Professor position in Sport and Exercise Science. His research integrates clinical exercise physiology, digital health innovation, and high-altitude/outdoor physiology. Key affiliations include The Institute for Applied Human Physiology, Kidney Research UK Clinical Study Group (Co-Chair), Wales Kidney Research Unit (Exercise & Nutrition Thematic Lead), and Mountain Rescue England and Wales collaborations.
