Dr. James Wallace is a Lecturer in the Department of Management, Employment and Organisation at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. His academic career focuses on critical management and organizational studies, with specific expertise in power dynamics, identity, and wellbeing discourse within workplaces.
His research explores the intersection of employer-employee relations, health promotion, and alternative organizational forms. He has co-edited a special issue of Organization on Wellbeing and co-convenes a stream at the International Critical Management Studies Conference. Wallace holds a PhD in Organization and Management from Cardiff University (2019), where his thesis analyzed workplace wellbeing programs through power relations.
