James W. Finck is a Professor of American History at The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma, where he has taught since 2011 after five years at the University of Texas Pan-American. His expertise centers on the Civil War and Political History, with significant contributions to Oklahoma's historical community through the Oklahoma Civil War Symposium and partnerships with the Honey Spring Battlefield.
