James Nadler

James Nadler is an Associate Professor of Media Production at the RTA School of Media, Toronto Metropolitan University. He teaches screenwriting, television producing, and directs the RTA in LA program at UCLA. With industry experience spanning over 200 hours of television, his work includes sci-fi dramas, comedies, and animation.

Notable projects include developing CBC's 'Heartland' and Netflix's 'True and The Rainbow Kingdom.' His short film 'Funny Animals' won Best Comedy at the Toronto International Shorts Film Festival. Awards include Dean's Teaching and Service honors, and a 2024 Toronto Metropolitan Fellowship at Massey College.
