Professor James Lowenberg-DeBoer holds the Elizabeth Creak Chair of Agri-Tech Economics at Harper Adams University, where he leads research in agricultural technology economics. He serves as President of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and Co-Editor of the journal Precision Agriculture. His expertise spans spatial regression analysis of crop sensor data, international agricultural development, and food security solutions. Professor Lowenberg-DeBoer has conducted research in over 70 countries, including pioneering work through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded Purdue Improved Cowpea Storage (PICS) project.
