Dr. James Kelly is an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Health Research at Lancaster University's Faculty of Health and Medicine (FHM). His work focuses on clinical psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mental health interventions, particularly for individuals with psychosis and suicidal ideation. He is affiliated with the Clinical Psychology research group and contributes to studies on mobile health technologies (e.g., TechCare), suicide prevention, and early intervention strategies for psychiatric conditions.
His research spans the feasibility and effectiveness of novel therapies, such as imagery-focused interventions for delusions and telehealth-based CBT for psychosis.
