James H. Dulebohn is a Professor in the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations at Michigan State University (MSU), affiliated with the College of Social Science. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His expertise spans decision-making, organizational justice, leadership, and e-HR systems. Dulebohn has held administrative roles including Associate Director of the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations and Deputy Director of Development, overseeing international programs and corporate partnerships.
Education includes a PhD from UIUC (1995), M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Central Missouri (1989), and B.A. in History & Political Science from Oral Roberts University (1981). His research focuses on organizational neuroscience, compensation, and leadership dynamics, with over 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has received awards including the Journal of Management’s Best Paper Award (2017) and led grants totaling over $1.4M.
