Dr James Greenwood-Reeves is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds (2022–present), previously holding a Lecturer position at the University of Sussex (2021–2022). He specializes in public law, queer legal theory, and the intersections of law with protest, surveillance, and cultural phenomena. His research network 'Law’s a Drag' collaborates with drag performers to explore law’s engagement with gender and performance.
Education includes a PhD in Law, MSc in Security and Justice, and BA (Cantab) in Law from the University of Cambridge. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
