James Forest is a Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the School of Criminology and Justice Studies and concurrently holds a Visiting Professor position at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the U.S. Joint Special Operations University and co-editor of the peer-reviewed journal Perspectives on Terrorism. His career includes roles at the U.S. Military Academy, where he served as Assistant Dean and Director of Terrorism Studies.
