Jakob Dürr is a Research Associate and doctoral candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance since May 2023. His research focuses on Tax Law, European Law, and Public Finance Law. He holds a Second State Exam in Law (2023) and First State Exam in Law (2020) from Hamburg, with studies in Tax Law at Bucerius Law School and Victoria University of Wellington. His professional experience includes a legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, involving stages at the German Federal Ministry of Finance, European Commission, Latham & Watkins LLP, and Hamburg Financial Court.
