Friederike Malorny

Dr. Friederike Malorny holds a Junior Professorship in Civil Law and Labor Law at the University of Münster, with a tenure track to a full professorship. Her appointment emphasizes her expertise in legal research and innovative teaching methods, including digitization and interactive learning strategies. She completed her legal education at Bucerius Law School, graduating from the 2008 bachelor's class, and pursued a semester abroad at the Paris Institute of Political Science. Her doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Matthias Jacobs, focused on the liability of trade unions during unlawful strikes, earning prestigious awards. She passed the second state examination in 2021 and served judicial clerkships, including at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe. Malorny remains connected to Bucerius as a habilitation candidate and advisory board member of the alumni association.
