Lisa-Kristin Klapdor

Lisa-Kristin Klapdor is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, working under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Zimmermann since 2017. She specializes in German and European Private Law, Comparative Law, and the Unification of Laws.

• Education: Studied law at Bucerius Law School (2011–2017), completed a trimester abroad at the University of Cambridge (2013).

Research & Achievements: Recognized as best oralist at the Hans Soldan Moot (2015) by DJFT and awarded scholarships by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation and Latham & Watkins. Her legal traineeship (2017–2019) included placements at the Federal Ministry of Justice, Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and New York City.
