Dr. Jade Morris is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Bradford, affiliated with the Faculty of Health Studies and the Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research. Her work focuses on physical activity interventions, cognition in children, and adolescent mental health. She leads a Sport England-funded project developing a Physical Literacy Assessment Tool for educational settings. Previously, she completed her PhD at Leeds Beckett University (2020) on the effects of physical activity on primary school children's cognition and academic performance.
Her research experience includes evaluating whole-school physical activity programs, behavior change methodologies, and qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups). She has coordinated large-scale projects like King’s College London’s REACH initiative, which explored youth mental health and the impact of the pandemic, while managing young person community champions to co-produce research outcomes.
