Professor Jacqui Norris is the Head of School and Dean of the Sydney School of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. A registered veterinarian and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK)-recognized specialist in veterinary microbiology, her research focuses on companion animal viral/bacterial diseases, antimicrobial resistance, Q fever prevention, and kidney disease in Felids. She leads initiatives in antimicrobial stewardship, including a national online training program for veterinarians. Her work bridges clinical practice, education, and public health, addressing zoonotic diseases and One Health challenges.
