Jacqueline Marshall is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Strathclyde. Since 2017, she has led the largest undergraduate Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programme in Scotland, the BA(Hons) Primary Education, and manages key modules in Numeracy and Mathematics for the PGDE and BA Primary Education programmes. Her work emphasizes fostering positive attitudes toward mathematics education among pre- and in-service teachers to inspire children's engagement with STEM.
With 25 years of teaching experience across Scotland, UAE, China, Ireland, and Spain, Marshall specializes in differentiation, financial education, and interdependent learning. She co-leads the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Collaborative Writing Group, focusing on peer assessment benefits, and directs the University and School Partnership project to strengthen student-teacher training.
