Jacqueline Lorenzen

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jacqueline Lorenzen serves as the Argelander Professor for the Law of Sustainability and Ecological Transformation at the Institute of Public Law, Faculty of Law and Economics, University of Bonn. Her academic position places her at the intersection of legal scholarship and sustainability research within one of Germany's leading research universities.

Her research focuses on the critical legal frameworks governing sustainability, with particular expertise in sustainable urban development, environmental energy law, and the constitutional dimensions of sustainability. She examines procedural instruments for environmental protection and investigates the complex relationship between sustainability principles and constitutional law.
