Dr. Jaqueline Lorenzen is a Junior Professor (W1 with tenure track) at the University of Bonn, holding the Argelander Professorship for the Law of Sustainability and Ecological Transformation since April 1, 2023. She is also part of the Transdisciplinary Research Area 'Individuals, Institutions and Societies' and the WHATS-UB network for female researchers.
Her research focuses on sustainability law, climate protection, EU and constitutional law of sustainability, and environmental energy law. She emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, working with economists, geographers, and public health experts on projects like the Ahrtal flood analysis and a heat protection law monograph funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
