Assistant Professor Cihan Avcı Braun is affiliated with Yeditepe University's Faculty of Law, Department of Law, where he teaches courses in Inheritance Law, Personal Data Protection Law, and Civil Law. He holds a PhD from Ruprecht-Karls-Universitaet Heidelberg and completed his undergraduate studies at Yeditepe University.

His work also addresses consumer protection and environmental treaty compliance.

He has authored two editions of the Istanbul Commentary - Turkish Code of Obligations and contributed to national and international journals.
