Stefan Greiner

Prof. Dr. Stefan Greiner serves as Professor and chair of the Institute for Labour Law and Social Security Law within the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Bonn. He co-founded the association "Arbeitsrecht Bonn e.V." in June 2023 to bridge academia, business, and legal practice while recruiting emerging talent in labor law.

His research examines intersections between labor/social law and constitutional, European, and civil law frameworks, with specific emphasis on collective bargaining, industrial disputes, termination laws, and social insurance systems. He prioritizes blending theoretical rigor with practical conflict resolution to address real-world legal challenges, ensuring high societal relevance in rapidly evolving labor landscapes.

Through "Arbeitsrecht Bonn e.V.", Prof. Greiner spearheads practice-oriented teaching initiatives and public events like the Bonn Labor Law Day, strengthening Bonn's position as a hub for labor law scholarship while mentoring next-generation legal professionals.
