Jacob Lunderby

Jacob Lunderby is a Teaching Professor and Drawing Area Coordinator at the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. He earned a BFA in Painting from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Minnesota.

Jacob’s artistic practice combines inkjet printing on Duralar, enamel painting, and site-specific installations, exploring themes like abstract landscapes, color theory, and spatial interplay. His works often incorporate digital media and experimental techniques, creating layered visual dialogues between real and simulated shadows, indefinite landscapes, and material innovation.

Recent exhibitions (2021-2025) include solo projects like Limette (2022) and Plateau of the Mirror (2020), alongside collaborative efforts with artists like Meghan Cox and Lunderby/Weiss Studio. His practice spans regional, national, and international venues, from Philadelphia to Seoul, South Korea, and Naha City, Japan.
