Jack Sullivan is a Professor at Rider University, affiliated with the Department of English. His academic focus spans nineteenth and twentieth century American literature, music, and film. He chairs the American Studies Program and advocates for active Emersonian education, often engaging students in cultural events in New York City, where he resides with his family. He holds a B.A. from Furman University and advanced degrees (M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.) from Columbia University.
