Jack Alexander is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with Gonville & Caius College. He holds a PhD in Law (2023) and LLM in Commercial Law (2020-21) from Cambridge, alongside degrees from the University of Auckland. His research focuses on restitution, contract law, and public law, with notable publications analyzing New Zealand Supreme Court jurisprudence and arbitration frameworks. Alexander has received prestigious scholarships including the WM Tapp Studentship and the Cleary Memorial Prize.
Professional experience includes roles as a Junior Barrister at Shortland Chambers, Judge's Clerk at the New Zealand Court of Appeal, and academic appointments as a Lecturer in Restitution at Auckland and Research Assistant at Cambridge.
