Jaakko Taipale is a Grant-funded Researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Helsinki, specializing in Science and Technology Studies (STS) with interdisciplinary ties to sociology of medicine, law, and insurance. His current projects (2023–2025) investigate insurance medicine and computational modeling of cross-disciplinary knowledge diffusion.
