Jaakko Salminen is an Associate Senior Lecturer and Title of Docent in Civil Law at the Department of Law, Lund University. His research focuses on the role of contract law in shaping global production systems, emphasizing sustainability, security of supply, and societal development. He explores how contractual frameworks influence ecological and social externalities in global value chains through historical, comparative, and transnational legal perspectives.
