J. Brandon Pelcher is a Lecturer in the Department of International Literary and Cultural Studies at Tufts University, located in Medford, MA. He holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins University (2017), an MA from the University of Colorado Boulder (2011), and a BA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (2003).
His research focuses on interdisciplinary environmental humanities, material ecocriticism, and avant-garde studies. Key areas include eco-cinema/media, ecofeminism, commodity theory, and Marxist literary/political theory. He also explores visual culture, photography theory, and memory studies through 20th-21st century literary and cultural frameworks.
