J. Andres Coca-Stefaniak

Professor J. Andres Coca-Stefaniak is an academic at the University of Greenwich, serving as Associate Head (Research & Knowledge Exchange) in the School of Business, Operations and Strategy. He is also co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Tourism Cities (Scopus Q1), Associate Editor of the Journal of Tourism Futures and Sustainability, and advisor to the World Tourism Cities Federation.

Research Interests: His work spans urban tourism, smart cities, and smart tourism destinations, with a focus on place marketing and branding, management and competitiveness of urban places, and sustainability in business and place management. He explores how traditional markets and town centres can drive urban revitalisation.

He led ERDF-funded projects like GO TRADE and SHARE and has advised policymakers at the European Commission and UK Parliament on tourism and urban vitality.
