Ivy Chen

Ivy Chen is a Lecturer in Sexuality Studies at San Francisco State University with over 20 years' experience teaching SXS/PSY 320 Sex & Relationships. As a sexuality health educator, she develops and delivers workshops on puberty education, consent, healthy relationships, sexual identity, STI prevention, and family communication for diverse Bay Area communities.

Her pedagogical approach emphasizes creating inclusive, age-appropriate learning environments through participatory methods. She holds an MPH in Health & Social Behavior from UC Berkeley and maintains professional activities in curriculum development, program evaluation, and community outreach.
