Ivana Kihas is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. She holds a PhD in Medicine (2023) and a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Psychology Honours). Her current role involves coordinating the Inroads study, a randomized controlled trial focused on early intervention for anxiety and hazardous alcohol use in young people.

She emphasizes translational research to bridge clinical practice and policy.
