Ivana Bacik is Reid Professor of Criminal Law, Criminology and Penology at Trinity College Dublin's School of Law since 1996. A barrister with degrees from Trinity and the London School of Economics, she teaches Criminal Law, Criminology, and Feminist Criminology while serving as a Senator for Dublin University.
Her research explores criminal justice reform, constitutional frameworks, and feminist legal theory. Recent publications analyze Ireland's legal responses to #MeToo and counter-terrorism legislation.
Honors include Trinity Fellowship and teaching awards recognizing contributions to legal education. Research has been supported by British Academy and Middle Temple awards.
