Ismo Dunderberg is a Professor of New Testament Studies at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Theology, affiliated with the Biblical Studies department. His career includes roles as Dean and Vice-Dean of the Faculty, as well as Academy of Finland Research Fellow (1995-2003, 2007-2008). He holds membership in the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters since 2011.
