Ishtiaque Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on social and environmental justice, sustainable design, and ethics in technology, particularly in marginalized communities. He has advised numerous students across PhD, Master’s, and undergraduate programs, with topics ranging from postsecular computing to ethics in AI and robotics.
His work integrates interdisciplinary approaches, including HCI, migration studies, and global development.
