Dr. Isabelle Parent serves as a Lecturer at the School of Criminology within the Faculty of Arts and Science and the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Montreal. She teaches Victimology and Vulnerable Profiles courses for the victimology certificate program, leveraging 15 years of frontline experience in Quebec's public security sector.
Her research centers on victimology with specialized expertise in sexual violence and domestic violence. Dr. Parent investigates victimization processes, vulnerability/resilience dynamics, and the effectiveness of social services for victimized populations.
