Isabel Lepanto Gleicher is a Lecturer in Flute at SUNY Purchase College's Conservatory of Music. A renowned contemporary flutist, she collaborates with ensembles such as the International Contemporary Ensemble, Wild Up, Ensemble Échappé, and ShoutHouse, and co-founded the Song Sessions Collective, which explores whale song-inspired improvisation with flutes, clarinets, sine-tones, and LED installations. Her performance credits include premieres of works by Steve Reich, Missy Mazzoli, and Julius Eastman.
