Isabel Amez Arenillas

Isabel Amez Arenillas is a Professor at the Department of Energy and Fuels and Deputy Director of the School of Mining and Energy Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She has held various academic roles, including Assistant Professor (2023–2025) and Permanent Labor Professor (since 2025). Her research focuses on chemical engineering, safety engineering, materials science, and energy systems. She is a member of the Industrial Safety: Explosive Atmospheres research group and affiliated with the Technological Center for Safety and Quality in Energy and Mining Industries (TECMINERGY).
