Irmina Miernicka is an Assistant Professor at the Department of European, International and Collective Labour Law within the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz. She has held this academic position since 2020 and holds a PhD in Law.
Dr. Miernicka specializes in labor law with particular expertise in issues concerning interference with employee freedom and workplace discrimination. Her research spans both Polish and European labor law frameworks, reflecting the department's international focus.
As an active academic researcher, she has published works in both Polish and English languages and regularly participates as a speaker at international and national conferences on labor law topics. Her scholarly contributions are tracked through her ORCiD ID.
Dr. Miernicka combines her academic work with practical legal experience, having served as a legal counsel member of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Lodz since 2016. She maintains regular office hours for students, currently conducting them remotely on Wednesdays from 12:00-13:30, with in-person meetings available by appointment at her office in room 3.29 at Kopcińskiego 8/12 in Łódź.
